This course is designed for Associate Tutors who would like to learn about using online resources. The aim is to enable tutors to do the following:

  1. Enhance and add online elements to an existing Woodbrooke course
  2. Turn an existing traditional Woodbrooke course into an online one
  3. Feel comfortable using online resources in your work at Woodbrooke

To get the most from this course, Associate Tutors must have a specific course in mind and have existing material to work with.

This is an area for you to experiment with building an online course using Moodlerooms.

During this course we will provide you with a space to discuss the principles and practice of online course design.

In the first week we'll look at some of the principles of good course design, and then in the second and third weeks we'll give you some techniques to help you build your own course using Moodlerooms and/or Adobe Connect. In the fourth week, we will be holding a  live event using Adobe Connect to recap the main principles and practices and share all of our questions and comments.

We are hoping that this course will be interactive and collaborative, so please do join in willing to share your ideas and experiences of online learning.

Ongoing group, by invitation only, for core/repeated participants in the Good Lives programme. Group will, we hope, generate new developments.

A forum for the Programmes Team, plus a pro tem holding space for useful resources for courses.

A discussion space for invited participants to thresh and develop thinking about a possible Quaker model for spiritual nurture/accompaniment/direction.
